Missions

“We are proud to be Partner in Missions with the following two RCA ministries:”

“For over 30 years, we have provided Food and Nutrition services through Soup Kitchens and Food Pantries. Our Community Initiatives/Outreach programs have grown to include Outreach & Education, Volunteer Services, Single Stop Help Center, Healthy Families Program, Senior Health & Wellness Services, Youth Programs, Disaster Recovery Services, Women’s Emergency Services and Domestic Violence Intervention, and more.”

“Human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation are happening in our own communities and around the world. God has called Jennifer Lucking to come alongside women who have been sexually exploited and trafficked. She serves as the executive director of Restorations Second Stage Homes. Restorations exists to provide specialized, long-term care for the victims and survivors of commercial sexual exploitation in Ontario, Canada. They work to provide a long-term residential care program. Through this program, they hope to establish a community that rejoices in each person’s uniqueness; restores physical, spiritual, and mental wellbeing; and empowers individuals to step into their life’s purpose.”

Puerto Rico Mission Trip
June, 2019

On June 23-29, a group of 30 high school students and 10 adults from our local community travelled to Puerto Rico to assist residents with some much needed repairs and refurbishing after experiencing extensive damage in 2017 from Hurricane Maria. This was an opportunity for our youth help others less fortunate while having their own spiritual transformations along the way. Below are some of the pictures captured during their weeklong excursion.
